ADVERTISER

How does the service work?

As an advertiser, first you must sign up for an account.  Once the account is approved, you will be able to add websites to the account.  If you want to run a campaign and start building links, you’ll have to fund your account.  As an advertiser, you can state your criteria (Google PR or Technorati scores) and set your price.  Once you start a campaign, our approved bloggers will be able to view it and start accepting your campaign.  As the advertiser, you are in control of pricing.  Please just keep in mind that the bloggers are not required to accept pricing set out by the advertisers.

How much does it cost?

The factors that determine costs are the number of links requested, the rating of the blogs requested, the length of the articles and the number of links requested in the article.  Google PR is one of the most common ways to judge the cost of a blog article.  Ultimately, pricing is determined by the individual blogger.  For the average rated blog (Google PR3-4), the average pricing for articles is typically $10 per article with 200 words and 2 links.

Can I tell the bloggers what to write?

No, it is up to the blogger to review your website.  You are paying for a review and a link (or links) to your website.  You can request the key words for the embedded link and you can request which URL’s you want to be the recipient of those links.  However, the content of the article is to be determined by the blogger and intended to be an honest review to their readers.

What is Google Page Rank?

Google rates every internet page.  The ranking is on a scale of zero to ten where ten is the best and zero the worst.  How google rates website pages is kept internal to google.  There is a lot of speculation on the subject about content and link building.  There is also speculation that the scale is a logarithmic scale meaning that it’s exponentially more difficult to advance to the next level (as opposed to a linear scale).

What are yahoo in-links?

These are the number of links that yahoo has linking to a website.  There is speculation that more links will increase your websites search engine rating.

What are google indexed pages?

Your website is indexed by google.  One of the statistics tracked is how many pages you have indexed with your website.  There is speculation that more content filled pages promote search engine ratings.

What is the Alexa Score?

It is the popularity of a website as rated by Alexa.  The score is mainly based on traffic and reach that is tracked by Alexa.  The lower the score for a website the better (indicating higher traffic).

What is Technorati Authority/Score?

Technorati is generally considered the authority on blog content, traffic and ranking.  The lower number for Technorati ranking the better the score.  The score is a linear ranking of all blogs registered with Technorati.

Why aren’t google-in-links shown?

Google also tracks in-links but yahoo seems to update links more frequently.  There is speculation that google sees all of the in-links but simply has a built in lag time with reporting those links.

Are there costs associated with opening and maintaining an account?

No.

Can I select which blogs I want?

You have the ability to set the criteria for your blogs.  If you decide you do not want the same blog writing articles, you have the option to “bench” that blog for a time period of your choosing.

BLOGGER

How do I get started?

If you have a blog that you would like to submit for potential assignments, simply register for an account.  Once our administrators verify the information, they will approve your account.

How do I get assignments?

Assignments become available based on the criteria set by the advertiser.  Advertisers will decide price they want to pay per post, minimum ranking (Google PR, Technorati or Alexa Score) and theme of the blog.  If your blog meets the minimum requirements set out by the advertiser, you will see the assignments available in your account.  Only accept the assignments that you believe have fair requirements and price points.

How can I get a blog?

We do not offer blog hosting services but visit our page that provides a list of websites with free blog services.

How much money will I make ?

How much you make is variable.  Like anything, it’s supply and demand.  If you have a highly rated blog, you will qualify for more assignments and have a higher earning potential

What kind of tone should I use in my posts?

Many bloggers make the mistake of assuming that posts have to be gleaming endorsements, almost like advertisements.  This is not correct.  As a blogger, you should maintain objectivity and write a review of the website.  We recommend writing about the website content and layout as well as educating people on the products and services.  You are not being paid to advertise products.  Rather, you are being paid to write objective reviews.

How do I get paid more money?

Higher rated blogs (by google, Alexa and Technorati) generally receive higher compensation.

Admin asked me to write a sample review, what’s this?

As part of membership, we rate and rank all blogs, their writing skills and ability to complete tasks timely and effectively.  We use sample for rating purposes.  In many cases, the articles may be about bloggers bar.  This also helps promote the site and bring more advertisers to your door.

When I submit my entry, I’m told that it cannot find my link.  Why?

We provide you with a link(s) in the blog task.  Our automated system references that exact link.  The easiest way to ensure compliance is to cut and past that link into your article.  If the link appears broken, it’s possible that the advertiser requested a link to an invalid website.  If this happens, please contact admin.

When do I get paid?

Payouts happen at the end of every month.  Sometimes, admin will make it sooner but, for the most part, expect to be paid once a month and you will be paid for all tasks that were completed and approved in that month.
